The Council of Europe Project was effective

On 15 December 2015, the closing conference of the project on “Strengthening the application of the European Convention on Human Rights and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights in Armenia” was organised by the Council of Europe.

The main objective of the project was to improve the effective implementation and unified application of European human rights standards in Armenia, by strengthening the capacity of the Court of Cassation and the Department of Ministry of Justice for Relations with the European Court of Human Rights, as well as by enhancing the training capacity of the newly established Academy of Justice.

The Project also contributed to the development of the official website of the Government Representation before the European Court of Human Rights.
