On July 23, 2019 President Armen Sargsyan signed the Law on Government Agent of RA before the ECHR.
The Law is the first of its kind to regulate the field of Government Agent of RA before the ECHR. The Law regulates the Agent’s status, appointment and replacement procedure, the Agent’s scope of authority, as well as the Agent’s Office’s goals and objectives more clearly and comprehensively.
